There was a good turnout for our post-Christmas meal at The Brook, Washbrook. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there was plenty of merry banter flying about! Unfortunately there was no opportunity this year for another tuneful solo from Heather Robinson who performed so well for us at the Bramford Cock in 2011!The highlight of the evening was Joan Molle’s attendance – her first for nearly two years because of the surgery she has been through which has affected her eyesight. She was able to recognise all her Capel Ladies friends and was very well received by everyone! It is hoped she may also be able to come to some other meetings in the future.

A good time was had by all.
