It was ideal weather – cold but sunny – for the shopping trip to Norwich on the train! There was a small but elite group of ladies and friends, who managed to get half price travel on their cheap day return tickets from Ipswich. After a coffee together they went their various ways in search of any bargains and gifts, or simply window shopping for ideas. Everyone then found somewhere nice to have lunch. One group ate at “Caley’s Cocoa Cafe” which is situated in the 15th Century Norwich Guildhall, near the market, a very interesting building. After another bout of shopping the whole party returned home at 5, all agreeing they had had a “grand day out”.
